Meet Your Physiotherapist
Emma Tanner has been with FL!P, and organizing FL!P, since fall of 2013 where she took on the administrative and rehab assistant roles, ensuring clients were well supported, and put through their paces in the FL!P gym until she successfully completed her Physiotherapy program.
Emma has both her Masters of Physiotherapy and her Bachelor Health Science degree from Ottawa University. She is bilingual, breaks a sweat before most people are awake, and is a stellar leaf tosser! Emma will not only have answers regarding your injury, but she will also have answers for pretty much everything because she has seen nearly every documentary.
Emma thoroughly believes in the importance of community. Whether it be volunteering at a charity ride, offering medical coverage for local sporting events or cheering for her clients at local races and nearby Ironman’s. Emma is committed to helping client’s reach their goals and return to the road, field, or wherever it is they want to be!
Having been injured many times herself, she understands the importance of prevention, and yet, totally understands that sometimes we just take things too far. She’s is adamant that health, fitness (and normal life!) look different on everyone and loves learning what drives client’s passions, and what she can do to support them in their journey.
